Mesh Wi-Fi installation in Hamilton
If your Wi-Fi drops out upstairs, in the garage or on the deck, the problem is usually the router, not your internet plan. The standard router from your provider is built for an average-sized home. Bigger and two-storey homes need more than one access point.
Mesh or an extender?
- Network names: an extender often gives you a second name to switch to. A mesh system keeps one name for the whole house.
- Speed: an extender drops your speed by about half. A mesh system keeps most of it.
- Best for: an extender suits one dead spot. Mesh suits the whole home, two storeys and big sections.
What our visit covers
- Signal check in every room.
- A written quote before we start. We name the exact system (TP-Link, Netgear Orbi, ASUS, Nokia or Google Nest), tell you whether it's Wi-Fi 5 or Wi-Fi 6, and go ahead only once you're happy.
- Installation and placement of each unit.
- Moving phones, TVs, printers and smart devices onto the new network.
- Speed test in each room before we leave.
Where we install most
Rototuna, Flagstaff and the newer parts of north Hamilton, plus Peacocke and Rotokauri new builds. See computer and Wi-Fi help in north Hamilton.
